Auto Expo 2018: Honda’s Expected Lineup

Since announcing the halt of production of its Jazz model in March, Honda intimated buyers about a newer generation model that would be launched in its place early next year. Well, the company has now released official photos of the upcoming 2014 Honda Jazz (known as Fit in other markets).
The third generation of the subcompact hatchback in its hybrid guise will be launched in Japan by September, and will feature a City-Brake Active System. As announced before the more efficient ‘Earth Dreams’ engines will also be introduced in the 2014 version. The 1.5-liter engine producing 128PS; and a separate 1.3-liter engine are on the cards.
Not much is yet known about the Japan-spec Hybrid version, which according to the company is a 35% improvement over the outgoing model. It will be equipped with a Sport Hybrid i-DCD (intelligent dual clutch drive) and a engine mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. It will feature three driving modes; pure EV, hybrid mode, and engine only mode.
