At the 2014 EICMA motorcycle show Honda finally removed the wraps off the RC213V-S which is a limited edition bike based on Honda's MotoGP machine

Honda RC213V-S

Honda unveiled the RC213V-S which probably is the biggest highlight of the 2014 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. The Honda RC213V-S according to the Japanese two-wheeler giant is the road going version of the RC213V MotoGP that is being piloted by Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. So unsurprisingly it was Marc Marquez who rolled onto the stage aboard a prototype machine with its exposed carbon fibre. Honda had two RC213V-S’s on display at EICMA, the first one was a running prototype to highlight the fact that the whole bike has been crafted from carbon fibre and apart from the name it shares lot of chassis technology with the RCV213V MotoGP machine. The other Honda RC213V-S was a static motorcycle finished in traditional HRC colours with the Japanese flag at the centre to celebrate 100 years of the EICMA show. Honda just showcased the RC213V-S and didn’t reveal the technical specifications as it said the bike is still in its development stages. We feel Honda wants its aficionados to wait till the 2014 Tokyo Motor Show where it is expected that the bike will be officially unveiled alongwith the numbers. But what can we be rest assured is the fact that the Honda RC213V-S will be available in limited numbers and will be loaded to the brim with cutting-edge technologies that Honda has gained from numerous years of racing. But all this technical wizardly will come at cost and the Honda RC213V-S will be the most expensive Honda motorcycle to ever go on sale.
