Skoda Auto India, the completely owned division of well renowned German automaker Volkswagen, has announced ‘Free Pollution Check’ campaign on June 5, 2014 in association with the Society of Indian Automobile Association (SIAM). This step has been taken to commemorate the World Environment Day. With this campaign, the automaker is looking ahead to spread the awareness on environment among Indian buyers. This initiative also substantiates the commitment of Skoda towards the environment and the community.
The ‘Free Pollution Check Up’ campaign aims to generate awareness on environment protection / conservation through customer education and also contribute in saving our environment by maintaining in-use-vehicles. The campaign will be held across all authorised Skoda dealerships.
The campaign will incorporate emission checking equipment and devices to clean the engine. The customers who avail this unique initiative will be assisted by technical personnel at the Skoda dealerships across India.
All Skoda dealers have pledged to actively participate by giving their valuable tips on car maintenance and longevity. Skoda customers visiting the free pollution check camp will be entitled to a free PUC certificate by the Skoda Auto dealers in association with SIAM.
