72 riders, covering more than 2700km in 17 days and crossing three mountain ranges, the Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey is a lot more than that. Motorcyclists from all around India have participated in this ride that takes them through the Himalayas to what is arguably the highest motorable road in the world - Khardung La.

Abhijit Singh, Head- Marketing, Royal Enfield, flagged off the riders from India Gate. Addressing the riders at the flag-off ceremony he said, “The Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey is the ultimate motorcycling adventure that unites the rider with the bike and the terrain to create an experience of a lifetime.  It is this love of pure motorcycling that brings riders together from all over the world and bond over their common passion of riding a Royal Enfield to the Himalayas. With each passing year a new set riders are initiated to this extraordinary expedition. Their successful completion of this journey has come to establish Royal Enfield as the definitive bike for riding to Ladakh.”

To celebrate their arrival at Leh, Royal Enfield has also organized the Himalayan REUNION. Now in its second year, this REUNIOn gives the riders an opportunity to share their biking experiences. Besides the interaction, there will also be a musical extravaganza and other events like Assembly Wars and slow race that will test the knowledge and riding skill of motorcycling enthusiasts.

The Himalayan Odyssey as well as the Himalayan REUNION are organised by Royal Enfield every year. This year's Odyssey will come to an end when the participants return to Delhi on 7th July.
