Suzuki Motorcycle sales up 1 per cent in April

Suzuki Motorcycle India sold 27,320 units in April 2015, reporting a growth of 1 per cent over the same period last year. Suzuki expects an upwards sales trajectory in the coming months with the response to the recently launched Gixxer SF

Suzuki Motorcycle India has reported 1 per cent growth in April 2015, selling 27,320 units, up from 27,023 units in the same period last year.


"Although the two-wheeler industry in general has experienced a slight slowdown, Suzuki has experienced growth in sales," Suzuki Motorcycle India Executive Vice President Atul Gupta said in a statement.

The recently launched Gixxer SF has been received very well by the consumers. The company looks forward to continuing this upwards sales trajectory in the coming months, he added.
