Honda NX400 Launched In Japan; CBR400R Receives Updates

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has reported a 9 per cent increase in growth, selling 3,40,791 units in April 2015.
The company had sold 3,13,894 units in the corresponding period last year.
Scooters again accounted for most sales at Honda, led by the best-selling Activa and jumping nearly 16 per cent over the sales in April 2014.
In all, HMSI sold 1,97,801 scooters in April. Honda motorcycles too, continue to sell in quite respectable numbers - with 1,31,291 units sold. However, motorcyles registered a marginal decline in sales from 1,31,377 units last year.
Exports also saw a minimal decline of 1.91 per cent to 11,699 units against 11,928 units in the same period last year. On the occasion of Akshay Tritiya, Honda sales crossed 41,000 units in a single day, recording 50 per cent sales growth year-on-year over last year.
