CommentsWhat would a modern day Krishna ride? A Vardenchi cruiser, of course!

Akshay Kumar will be riding a specially designed Vardenchi cruiser for his movie OMG, scheduled for release on September 28, 2012. Akshay is playing a modern day Krishna, complete with leather jacket, aviators and custom cruiser.
Costing a cool 10 lakh rupees, the motorcycle is pretty well specced. It has a 500cc engine driving a fat 300mm rear tyre via a belt. The bike also features custom graphics, chrome elements, front telescopic suspension with fork shields, and a multi-function LED speedometer. It took 45 days to build and according to the makers, was designed to complement the theme of the movie.
This is the first time that a Vardenchi bike will be featured in a movie. It has been in the news for making replicas of motorcycles which featured in the Tron Legacy and Ghost Rider movies. The Mumbai based firm had also designed a one-off chopper for the Sunburn Festival last year.
