An interactive application to control your car, is what Volvo Cars has tried to introduce in its application ‘Volvo on Call’. The application is available for download on Google Play store, App Store and Microsoft Market and can be used on the iOS, Android and Microsoft platforms.
‘Volvo on Call’ enables a Volvo car owner to lock the doors, view fuel levels and battery charge. By using this application a car owner can literally communicate with his or her car from reading the FAQ’s to the user guide of the car on its web based tool.
Indian Volvo Car owners will have to wait for this application because currently it will be available only in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland. The application will be available from May 2013 and will be updated further with users being able to give suggestions for it on the Volvo Car facebook page.
