TAG Heuer to launch 2012 India Racing Edition chronograph

TAG Heuer in 2011 launched the first India Racing Edition Carrera Tachymeter Chronograph to commemorate the brand’s 150 years of Mastering Speed ahead of the first ever Indian GP. The first India Racing Edition Carrera Tachymeter Chronograph from TAG Heuer was limited to 200 examples and wore a price tag of Rs. 1.99 lakh.

A year later, TAG Heuer is all set to launch the second India Racing Edition of the Carrera Tachymeter Chronograph on October 27, 2012. And this time, expect the price to go north from its predecessor. 

The premium watch maker will produce only 250 examples of the second edition TAG Heuer India Racing Edition. Keeping with tradition, the Racing Edition will feature the logo of ‘Mastering Speed for 150 Years’ with Saffron and Green colours from our National Flag on the dial of the watch, as well as on the Sapphire crystal case back. The thread stitching on the leather strap is finished in saffron as well and the top pusher button is garnished with an orange band. 

The TAG Heuer India Racing Edition 2012 will be available in select outlets across the country. 

The TAG Heuer Chronograph was the world’s first ever mechanical chronograph, patented by company founder Edouard Heuer in 1882.
