The prancing horse and pouncing puma! Both sigils of two very popular global brands; their partnership has been in existence for over six years now, and has resulted in the creation of some very stylish, yet incredibly functional footwear, great looking apparel, and much much more.

Puma already being a well-established brand both in Indian sportswear retail as well as on the international motorsports circuit through its product licensing alliance with Ferrari, has now partnered with the Buddh International Circuit as its official merchandise partner.

To mark the special occasion, the German sportswear multinational has also just introduced a special range of sportswear and athletic merchandise in India, called the Puma Motorsports Collection. This range of Ferrari-Puma co-branded merchandise will include a fresh stock of apparel, sports shoes and handbags, all of which will be made available to Indian Racing enthusiasts and Puma fans alike at all of its nationwide dealerships and multi-branded outlets.

Commenting on its partnership with the Buddh International Circuit and its continued association with Team Ferrari, Mr Rajiv Mehta, Managing Director, PUMA India said, “It is our pleasure to be associated with Buddh International Circuit this year. We see this association as a pioneering effort in the field of Motorsports merchandise and suit the needs of the million fans to reflect their spirit and passion for the sport. Also, our extended association with Ferrari is a great benefit to the brand as they are an ideal motorsport partner for us in every respect.”

The Puma-Ferrari partnership has indeed become one of the most commercially valuable licensing relationships for both companies, and has helped strengthen their relationship, and in the case of the Puma Motorsports Collection, create an instant connect with the Indian youth.
