With products like the GTO5355E 660-Watt 5- Channel Full-Range Amplifier and T696 Limited High-Output 3-Way Loudspeaker, JBL has always put all its efforts into crafting audio components that are by far the best in the market.
Built with the same expertise that has made it a legend in the field of car audio, JBL, a unit of Harman International Industries Incorporated, on Wednesday announced the release of its JBL GT- X333 and GT-555 car stereo head units in India. One of the leading aftermarket car audio brands in India with top of line audio accessories that include loudspeakers, subwoofers and amplifiers, the company now introduces car stereo head units that will bring the legendary JBL sound to your dashboard.
The JBL GTX-333 is one of the world's first car stereo head units to say goodbye to the popular CD format. The unit accepts inputs from a USB stick, SD card and a mobile phone or iPod from the front Aux input. It also has a tuner but no CD mechanism.
Commenting on JBL foray into this new segment, Sam Kapasi, Brand Director, JBL in India said, "Instead of focusing on redundant technology, the GTX -333 features a great output stage and even features 3 X 4 V line out for further connections to amplifiers and subwoofers. There is no head unit offering these features at these prices."
Speaking about JBL's brand mantra in India, Santhosh Kumar, Country Sales Manager for JBL in India said, "Connecting every music lover to his/her music no matter where they are is what JBL is all about."
Similar to the GT-X333 is the GTX-555, which has all the features of the GTX-333 plus a CD transport for those who still prefer to listen to compact discs.

The JBL GT-X333 and JBL GT-X555 will retail in all major car audio stores from December 2010.
• JBL GT-X333 costs INR4,990 (including all taxes)
