The high-octane, all-action, nail-biting, wheel-to-wheel documentary of the 2011 British Superbike Season is now out on DVD

I Superbiker 2 The Showdown

In a new exhilarating format of the fastest, most competitive national motorcycle racing championship in the world, which left only six riders for the title in a series of dramatic showdowns in 91 minutes of pure adrenaline rush on celluloid, Mark Sloper directed I, Superbiker 2: The Showdown is now available in stores.

Reigning champion Ryuichi Kiyonari returns from Japan to defend his three- time title. But the victor is beset with ongoing personal problems and has to recapture his previous winning form. And competing for the title against the reigning champion are Josh Brookes, Shane Bryne, Micheal Laverty, John Hopper, and Tommy Hill.

Bad Boy Josh Brookes just missed out on the title in 2010 and is determined to battle his way to the top. However, former Bristish Superbike Season (BSB), Shane ‘Shakey’ Bryne wants to regain the crown for an equal record of three wins that may pose a problem for Josh. Micheal Laverty a.k.a ‘The Irish Flyer’ is the dark stallion of the title chase after being in contention in 2010. And for the first time in the UK, American rider, ex-MotoGP star John “Hopper’ Hopkins returns to racing after overcoming injury and substance abuse. Finally, added to the mix is, British hero Tommy Hill, who so spectacularly lost the title the previous year by one small error that it has reinforced his determination to prove himself in his quest to become the British Superbike champion.

Soundtrack score is produced by David Vanian of the Damned and written by Phil Collen of Def Leppard, a tribute to 2011 reigning British Superbike Champion, Tommy Hill. Directed by Mark Sloper, the documentary is about the riders, their experience and their fight to the finish.
