In order to offer and assist its customers, General Motors (GM) India has launched an owner mobile application, 'myChevrolet India App'.  The application will aid customers with a number of tools that are relevant to their vehicles post purchase and is available for free on Android and iOS platform but only for GM India customers.

Commenting on the launch, Rajesh Singh, Vice President Sales, Marketing and After-sales, GM India said, "GM India goes the extra mile to enhance its customer experience. We have developed 'myChevrolet India App' mobile app to provide features that give real- time benefits to the customer and provides a one-stop shop. We feel the application will allow them to experience GM India services in an exciting new digital platform. This is another step in leveraging the potential of mobile technology to offer convenience and value to our customers," he added.

The application will help owners contact the company, schedule a service-as it your saves your preferred dealer's information, access vehicle information and do a lot more at just a push of a button. Apart from this, even if you are on the road, the application will locate the nearest dealer and will help you contact them with its touch-to-call feature.

The app also has parking reminder feature that lets you store information about your parking location like take photos and notes to capture parking details. This feature will use Google Maps to guide you. You will also have owner's manual at your fingertips.

Other unique programmes introduced by GM India to further bolster the Chevrolet ownership experience are unmatched Product Warranty of 3 Years/1,00,000 km, Chevrolet U-First Free Service Camps and the Chevrolet Promise Cost of Ownership Programme that offers assured low cost of maintenance.

GM is not the first automobile manufacturer to introduce a mobile application for its customers. Prior to GM, Volvo Car Corporation had introduced 'Volvo On Call' for its owners and so did Hyundai who introduced 'Hyundai Care' for its dedicated Hyundai owners.
