Maruti Alto Car Latest Updates
Maruti Suzuki has ended the production of the Alto 800 hatchback in light of the new BS6 phase II emission norms. The carmaker has cited declining sales stemming from a lack of affordability as the reason for the discontinuation.
Features of Maruti Alto The Alto-800 had received a facelift back in April 2019 with some styling revisions, especially at the front with an all-new grille and a redesigned bumper. Interior highlights include a 7-inch Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features on offer are reverse parking sensors, driver, front co-passenger airbags, speed alert system, seatbelt reminder for both front occupants, as well as ABS and EBD.
Maruti Alto Engine The Alto is powered by a BS6-compliant 796cc 3-cylinder petrol mill, delivering 47PS/69Nm, paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It has a fuel efficiency of 22.05kmpl.
