The Chevrolet Volt electric car has definitely captured the public's attention and imagination. With the capability of all-electric driving for up to 40 miles and the extended range to travel hundreds of miles after the battery is depleted, the Chevy Volt is an important element of GM's plan to develop a full range of gas-friendly to gas-free vehicles.
