Maruti Suzuki Launches A Star!

From concept to reality, we've been following the progress of the A-Star with baited breath. It is one of the biggest launches to come from the MSIL stable and forms part of the global line up of Suzuki vehicles.

The all new A-Star can best be described as a cute little car that comes packed with oodles of attitude to take on the not-so-premium hatchbacks that are present in the market as of today.

Fitted with a 998cc, 3 cylinder KB 10 Series engine that generates a healthy 67PS @ 6200 rpm and a noteworthy torque of 90Nm@3500 rpm, the A-Star is touted to offer a peppy yet frugal drive.

It's got the makings of a winner, and though it will compete in a rather crowded A2 segment, the A Star does come across as a car that will carve a healthy portion of the pie out for itself.

Its been a year since Maruti's first made-in-car A-star debuted in India. A-star is sold close to 2 lakh units across the world...Thanks A-star for making India proud | Reply

Idea car for city runabout. A-star's performance is unmatchable even by large sedans. Who wants extra space in city cars | Reply
