Shocking: Man blows car to kill bedbugs

The world is a strange place indeed, and it isn’t short of some bizarre people as well. Our belief in this fact is reinstated with a shocking incidence that occurred in New York, US where a man set his rental car ablaze in an attempt to kill bedbugs. No, we aren’t kidding.

Scott Kemery was so upset with the bedbugs in his rental car that he decided to get rid of them. The thought of getting rid of these insects is no wrong, but what is bizarre is the way through which he decided to kill them.

The 44-year-old man doused alcohol on these insects while sitting in his rental car in a grocery store parking lot. He then lit a cigarette, setting the car’s interior on fire. Kemery suffered first- and second-degree burns in this incident.

According to reports, two other cars were heavily damaged from the intense heat of the fire. Kemery was able to escape the car on his own. He was airlifted to a hospital with the first- and second-degree burns.

According to the 44-year-old man, he was suggested by someone that if he saturated the bedbugs with alcohol it would kill them. On a lighter note, we must say, although this man damaged two more cars apart from his rental car, he surely did succeeded in killing the bedbugs.
