Jerry Seinfeld’s famous car collection opens its doors for suitors to pick up some Porsches from the 50s and 70s

Seinfeld could make millions by auctioning three of his Porsches

Once he was done giving us sheer gold on the television, Jerry Seinfeld has kept generating excitement in the petrolhead quarters by displaying his abundance of luxury, vintage, and downright ridiculously awesome sets of wheels. He has made them easily available for the public to drool over in his web series ‘Comedians in Cars getting Coffee'.

But there is some unfortunate (fortunate for the suitors) news coming in from Jerry’s garage. Seinfeld has decided to send some of his smiling Porsches back into the world.

The news was reported via a press release from Gooding & Company, a well-known classic car auction company based out of California. The company will be auctioning off three of Seinfeld's Porsches at its Amelia Island Auction in Florida on March 11.

“Gooding & Company is honored to announce a selection of consignments from The Jerry Seinfeld Collection to be sold at the Amelia Island Auction on March 11, 2016,” the company stated in the release.

The three cars that made the cut are the 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder, 1958 Porsche 356 A 1500 GS/GT Carrera Speedster, and the 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 IROC RSR. Total auction estimation for all three? Oh you know, somewhere in between $8-10 million.

“I’ve never bought a car as an investment,” Seinfeld said, as reported by a website. “I don’t really even think of myself as a collector. I just love cars. And I still love these cars. But it’s time to send some of them back into the world, for someone else to enjoy, as I have.”
