Real Life superhero Lamborghini Batman dies in crash

Lenny Robinson, an ordinary man who became extraordinary the moment he put on a cape and cowl not to frighten criminals but to bring joy to the hearts of several children fighting life-threatening diseases will always be remembered in western Maryland, US. The 51-year-old philanthropist died after being fatally struck by a car on a western Maryland highway.

The Maryland man, better known as the Route 29 Batman, had for years dressed as the Caped Crusader and driven his custom-made car to deliver moments of happiness to hundreds of sick children at hospitals.

Robinson's ‘Batmobile’, a custom Lamborghini, broke down on Interstate 70 near Hagerstown, US while he was on his way back home. The Batmobile was experiencing engine troubles, so the 51-year-old Maryland native pulled over. The vehicle was struck by a Toyota Camry which then struck Robinson. The Camry's driver was uninjured. Robinson was, however, pronounced dead on the scene. No charges have been filed yet, and the Maryland State Police are still continuing to investigate the crash.

Fourteen years ago the Baltimore native sold his cleaning business. He used the proceeds to buy a Lamborghini, which he modified to resemble a Batmobile. Robinson became internationally famous when a video was posted of him being pulled over by police only to click pictures with him.

There's no way of knowing how many lives this Caped Crusader touched, but we can definitely say that he had a heart of gold.
