Mercedes-Benz cars to dazzle in Jurassic World

Mercedes-Benz is giving its vehicles a larger than life aura by continuing its association with the big screen. The fourth installment for the Jurassic Park series is due for a release next month, and cars from the luxury carmaker will be seen dazzling onscreen in the Chris Pratt starer flick.

Jurassic World will feature appearances by five different models which include the recently launched Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV, the Mercedes-Benz Unimog heavy-duty truck, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, and the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6.

Commenting on the company’s association with the sci-fi adventure movie, Jens Thiemer, Vice- President of Marketing, Mercedes-Benz, said, "In 1997 the Mercedes-Benz M-Class made its first official appearance in the Hollywood Blockbuster 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park'. Today, 18 years later, another Mercedes-Benz car will debut in a significant role in the latest installment of the groundbreaking Jurassic Park series named Jurassic World - the new GLE Coupe”.

The movie revolves around a special dinosaur theme park which is located on a fictional island, Isla Nubar. Things start getting out of control when one of the exhibits at the theme park escapes and goes on a rampage. The various Mercedes-Benz cars are a part of the theme park’s fleet and will appear in various scenes while driving its occupants safely from the clutches of the dinosaurs.
