In a bizarre act of protest, a Korean man took an extreme step of beating his Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG luxury sedan mercilessly with a golf club. This incidence occurred outside Shin Sung Motors – a Mercedes-Benz dealership based out in Gwangju, Korea.

The owner of the car, Yu Je-ha, had bought the car in March this year. The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, however, had engine problems owing to which he had asked the luxury carmaker’s dealership to either exchange the car with another one or refund the amount that he paid for the car. Je-ha states that the car was serviced several times but was to no avail.

The Korean man further stated that the Mercedes-Benz dealership had asked him to wait, but he failed to get any satisfactory answer from the dealership. This lack lustre attitude of the dealership enraged the Korean man due to which he decided to destroy his luxury sedan as a form of protest.

The Mercedes-Benz dealership has filed a suit against Je-ha for obstruction of work but decided to drop the charges later.

Thankfully the service of Mercedes-Benz in India has been up to the mark and no such incidents have been reported.
