Floyd Mayweather buys one of the most expensive car in the world

Floyd Joy Mayweather, Jr is a known name in the boxing circuit. A professional boxer, Mayweather remains undefeated in the boxing ring and is a five-division world champion. The world’s richest athlete is in the news once again for dropping a staggering Rs 10 crore on a new ride. Mayweather recently bought a Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita - one of only three built in the world. 

‘Trevita’ is a Swedish abbreviation that translates into ‘three whites’. Koenigsegg developed a unique coated fibre solution for the CCXR Trevita that transformed the fibres from black to a sparkling, silvery white. The Swedish carmaker claims that when the sunlight hits the Trevita, it sparkles as if millions of tiny white diamonds are infused inside the visible carbon fibre bodywork. 

The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is equipped with a V8, four valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts engine that is capable of churning out 1018PS of power and a staggering 1080Nm of torque. The car can sprint from 0-100kmph in 2.9 seconds with a claimed top-speed of 410kmph.

The world’s richest athlete was recently in news for putting his Ferrari Enzo up for sale for a whopping Rs 24.1 crore. The celebrity boxer had received crazy responses from billionaires across the world which included an Indian as well.
