Can anyone help me by giving opinion about Mahendra Rodeo RZ since I am planning to buy one scooter.........? Based on your feedback I am going to buy one from Mahendra or Honda.
I have purchased a Mahindra Rodeo two years back. It was problematic from the date of delivery, till today. Worst mileage below 40kmpl (on economy speed). I have replaced three batteries until now. Except pickup totally the worst scooter.
The inbuilt alarming feature in rodeo helps a lot..
My Rodeo RZ bike gives just above 30 kmpl in the city in spite of the "mileage tuning" done by the service guys twice :( It has now crossed 2500 kms and I've had two free services done.I've had problems with the fuel indicator and the engine is a bit noisy. My bike developed a carburetor leak after first service. Adding to that, Mahindra's service is not up to the mark. Pros: Large storage space with illumination, good pick-up, comfortable riding, good battery, stylish digital instrument cluster with a nice feature set, front fueling.Cons: Mileage not anywhere near that claimed by M
third class scooter in mileage and ground-clearance is poor even rear seat problem, all contact me to file case against mahindrascooter rajkumar bansal 8149659496 virar mumbai
the worst company i have worked with. the management is not bothered to address the problems they are simply after the money, they have taken back a couple of stallios from customers by refunding the entire cost of the vehicle, taxes and insurance, through the dealers and has not reimbursed the dealers in such sircumstancess god should save the customers/dealers who have purchased/ will purchase mahindra 2 wheelers vehicles ,
Pathetic vehicle...I completely agree with other reviewers...I own a Rodeo as well and it has given me nothing but problems...since the second month of purchase I have had problems with fuel meter, brake drum, parts falling off the scooter (some part that controls the turn blinkers)...for peace of mind it is advisable not to go for this vehicle.
if you really want to buy "Made in India" products go buy TVS or Bajaj and not this company that acquired Kinetic groupI still remember the CEO of Kinetic group Miss Firodia gave a rather "attitude" filled interview to a news channel some years ago...that woman was so full of herselfjust one year later the company got sold outthe real problem now what it seems that mahindra still has those same idiots in the top management in the companyabout time mahindra you got to fire the firodia legacy
I have purchased Mahindra Rodeo 2 years back. Its already a costly scooter, now in todayâ??s date I am literally fed up of the maintenance of my scooter. Everytime I give it to service station I have to spend around 1000bugs. Mileage is too low to describe. Battery goes down very fast even after servicing. In short I am too much frustrated with this 2 wheeler. I will never recommend this product to anyone. Worst output compared to other 2 wheelers in the market with same range.
I support Indian made products. But mahindra why don't u get it right the first time, quite like the moto , the Japanese follow!

I HAVE MAHINDRA RODEO SINCE 2009. BUT THE MAINTENANCE IS VERY COSTLY. THE DEALER M/S.P.B. AUTO, SURAT TAKING HUGE AMOUNT FOR REPAIRING OR SERVICES. THE AVERAGE IS ALSO NOT SATISFACTORILY.. I AM TOTALLY NOT HAPPY OR SATISFIED WITH THE VEHICLE.KANTILAL CHASIA, SURAT.
i am also looking forward to its all india launch. i hope its get national in 6 months. i loved the specifications and it looks a scooter for the future.
Hi Friends, I am looking for a good scooter for my office use, for 50 to 60 Kms daily usage.I am have narrowed down Mahindra Rodeo, Suzuki Swish, Honda Activa. My main considerations will be Best Mileage, Less Maintenance, and Durability. Kindly share with me your suggestions.

Who wants to buy Mahindra scooters today? Mr. Mahindra please renew the technical tie-up with SYM and bring their latest range of scooters to India. Tell them to design a scooter like the Honda Activa or the Suzuki Swish.
I was told that the Rodeo would return a mileage of 30kmpl atleast. After the first service it would go up to 40kmpl. However, I am now getting me mileage of 21kmpl. The dealership now claims that the 30 kmpl mileage figure is for the Duro DZ. They are now saying that the figure may go up after the 3rd service (which is paid service!). Also, ground clearance is major concern as well. It packs in some good features otherwise.
The old Rodeo I drive has been is able to accomodate my full helmet!
I purchased a Mahindra Rodeo one and half years back. It was almost the same price or more than the price of the Access 125 and Activa. The mileage (after 10000 kms - it gives 28-30 km/per ltr in city riding conditions). Accessories are of poor quality. Performance is down. I feel cheated by Mahindra and Mahindra.
