News & Features News Hyundai to launch new Elantra on August 13, 2012
With the same engine as fluidic verna, the price difference of 5Lakhs does not makes any sense. Hyundai can only get good volumes for elantra if its price difference is not more then 3lakhs to verna.
WTH will u pay 6 lac more for the. Same engine. Fluidic has the same engine ( diesel) what elantra has. It's better to spend a few thousand more n drive cruze with a very much more powerful engine. They should.have come up.with a better package
I have read your blog thoroughly and got mind blowing information.... Please send me mail if your are going to improve something advance..Thanks..Crown purses
what a price tag for elantra, I really cofuse about it and this car selling in the world 5 to 7 lakhs less than toyota corolla, mitsubishi lancer ex, nissan sylphy, mazda 3. my dearest indian friends go for something got value for money.
you said it, this the truth dubai 1.8 toyota corolla 74000 AED and hyundai elentra 55000 AED, those who don't know about cars those who go for this.
The guys who are saying it looks similar to the other Hyundai sedans, consider the point that the sedans of Audi like A4,A6, A8 also look similar to each other and have price difference of over 60lakh, yet no one complains...same with the beemers also...
This Fluidic design is just being OVERUSED!!!!!!I am just tired of looking at all the same looking HYUNDAI cars, i mean WTH are hyundai designers are even doing ?????? same design over and over again
Elantra is the perfect car segment where more people will be really interested in. same look across segments is being followed by Honda, BMW and many more players in the field. In fact Hyundai made a big mistake by taking off the Elantra, it is one of the best cars even now with good mileage and value for money (at least at that time). Hyundai must realize that it is their price and value for money that made their success to this level but they are pulling them down by highly overpricing their cars now. Hyundai wake up...!!!
OMG MAJESTIC CAR
Big mistake on the part of Hyundai to bring in the Elantra as a premium segemnt model in India. Something has to give and the Sonata or Verna or the Elantra will lose big time. This signature design biz will backfire because the Elantra, Verna and the Sonata look alike. One model will cannibalize sales of the other. The Verna will sell but not sure if people will be willing to shell out the extra bit for the Elantra. They will probably go straight for the Sonata. Also with an all new Camry and Civic round the corner, the Elantra will find the going tough. In Australia, the i30 scores over the i20. The i30 is bigger and plushier and costs a tad more. The Verna, Sonata and Elantra just cant live together. The new Elantra is definitely a great car lookswise, but Hyundai is no Volvo Bimmer or Merc and singnature looks dont work for the entry level market.
This looks like a fat Verna. All the cars looking similar.
Why do all BMW cars have the same look front and back my dear friend Javed?
