U always need to be on high alert for little kids and beggars. They always jump right in front of vehicles unexpectedly. One should keep a watch out for the same especially on crowded streets and congested residential areas.

Very informative. Thumbs up!
Try automatic transmission cars like, hyundai I10, Suzuki A-Star etc.
Don't block intersections !!
My favorite topic!! For future: Driving instructors need to be checked by respective RTOs whether they know any Traffic Rules, as I see some of them guiding a new driver through red lights without stopping!! As for educated class of drivers, learn to follow traffic rules. Do your share!! Stop at traffic lights. Just because of the uneducated driver in front of you cut red lights, does not make you follow him/her. Be the change instead of complaining. See the effect when you stop ten others will emulate you!! As for chaffeur driven cars and taxis, you as a passenger cannot forget about what your driver or the taxi driver is doing. Advise them ground rules of driving and that you will not support them if they do not follow traffic rules. I do it even with rickshaw drivers and they will admire you. The above three will make our roads safe!! I drive and am driven by my chaffeur and now he does not even honk unless an animal is right in front of us.
Maintain lane discipline and the traffic jams will automatically get reduced. The traffic police should be alert especially in areas prone to jams and penalize the offenders.
Rules should be strictly enforced, defaulters should be penalized, driving schools should be better equipped. Schools should play their part in educating students about proper civic rules. Only a good human being could be a good driver
Very nice. But with pedestrians and motorist just doing their own things it is a real jungle out there in Indian metros. Keeping a cool head is virtually not possible. I have literally stopped driving in Mumbai from 10 am to 8 pm after years of experience and helplessness.
