Tata Indicruz

Tata Indicruz

In India by: Mid-2009

Will cost: Rs 9-10 lakhs

2009 will mark Tata's foray into the MPV market with a new car based on the X-over concept called the Indicruz.

It will be based on the existing Safari platform and should be available with the 2.2-litre DiCOR common-rail diesel engine that has been doing rather well so far. Based on what we've seen Tata do with their new Indica Vista, we can expect the Indicruz to be fairly up-market, and will probably do well placed amongst its rivals, the new M&M Xylo and the Toyota Innova.

Well, now we know that it was never launched in 2009. The car looks very attractive. Can't wait to see it launched. | Reply

All vehicles in the market are by and large good but what happens to the customer after sales?? Thats something that TATA needs to answer? Their "After Sales" service are pathetic! Visit the dealer near Chinchwad Branch and check for yourself the nexus between Insurance agents and dealers!! | Reply

Its looking really attractive, but tata has always lacked on the quality front. And if they offer a really competitive quality, this is surely going to take over innova. And for overcoming xylo, they'll have to keep it in 7-8 lac bracket. ALL THE BEST | Reply

Dear All,Let us congratulate Tata for bringing a very contemporary looking vehicle to Indian market. By look wise it is as good as a chrysler grand voyager, Honda Odyssey or Toyota Previa etc. I do not no the technical specs about this vehicle. But this is a very neat looking vehicle. I wish Tatas all the success for bringing us this good looking vehicle. Xylos and Innovas are really eye sores though their quality may be good. | Reply
