Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey 2009 is Go!

If you were in Delhi on the 13 of June, you couldn't have missed the thump of 60 Royal Enfield Bullets all fired up and ready to take on the 2009 edition of the Himalayan Odyssey. In its 6^th year, the Himalayan Odyssey has become a cult biking trip for RE owners, for this trip celebrates the adventure of motorcycling and breaking away from the hum drum of a monotonous life.

The journey is the same. The bulleteers will head out of Delhi to Khardung-La and back over a 16 day trip that involves some thrilling terrain and visual delights. It takes a lot of guts to be a part of this trip, however the popularity is growing and as said earlier, the Himalayan Odyssey has gained a cult status amongst bikers.

Amongst the 60 riders is Zigwheels' very own Priyadarshan, or PD as he is more formally known! Our big man from our Pune office is set to take on the challenge and considering his panache for adventure and superb riding skills, we can expect a great story from him on his return.
