Nissan 370Z gets the Nismo touch!

If a stock 370Z wasn't enough to bake your cookie, Nissan just called upon their performance tuning wing - Nismo to get down n' dirty with the car. The result of all the 'evil doctor operating on innocent creature' procedure has now made the already potent 370Z an even sharper tool on tarmac. On sale from June 2009 in the US of A, the Nismo 370Z will be a showcase of some superb engineering by Nissan's underground tuning wing. Apart from the aerodynamic Fast and the Furious body work, the Nismo 370Z will also have super light-weight 19-inch wheels shod with Yokohama Advan Sport rubber. And no Nismo car is complete without that exclusively tuned engine and suspension.

Under the hood of this 370Z lies a 350 horsepower 3.7 litre V6 engine that uses VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift Control) for better intake of air resulting in the added power output. The mill also dishes out 374 Nm of torque - more than enough to pull some real G's under acceleration. But Nismo cars aren't all about straight line acceleration or speed - they're also a whole lot about handling and the Nismo 370Z is no different. The specially tuned suspension is stiffer all round making the 370Z an exceptional handler. The Nismo effect seeps into the interiors too giving owners a complete Nismo sport experience.
