MPV's or multi purpose vehicles have been a huge success ever since the inception of the segment in India.
Big on space, practicality and versatility, MPV's offer just what is needed for the big Indian family. The segment has come a long way from the humble Maruti Omni to its modern day successors. Almost all manufacturers have tried a dig at this segment and done pretty well for themselves. Toyota in particular was pretty much the benchmark in the segment with others managing their share in particular markets. But the latest entrant from Mahindra has taken the fight right upto Toyota's camp.

Value for money is of paramount importance in the MPV segment and that's exactly what Mahindra is offering with their latest offering, the Xylo. While styling might not be to everyone's taste, once seated on the inside all apprehensions regarding the looks are immediately banished. There is more than ample space and comfort offered by the captain or the bench seats is simply fantastic. With features like parking sensors and complete driver information display it is also loaded to the gills. The 2.5 litre M-Eagle engine provides decent grunt while being reasonably fuel efficient at the same time.
