Honda Jazz to Launch on June 10 2009

The much awaited Honda Jazz is set to debut on June 10 2009. A lot has been said about the upcoming hatchback from the Honda Siel stable, and considering all the hype, this is working out to be one of the most awaited launches in 2009.

The Honda Jazz is set to come in as a premium hatchback that will take on the likes of the Skoda Fabia and Hyundai i20. To a certain extent it will also compete against the likes of some low level midsizers like the Swift Dzire and Ford Ikon. How it performs in a crowd is what keen eyes from both the industry and the auto enthusiast population will observe, but for now the stars seem to be shining nice and bright for the future of the Honda Jazz.

Powered by a 1.2 litre engine, the Jazz is the ideal city car which is said to come with great interior space, excellent fit and finish and decent performance. Expect it to be rather frugal and packed with goodies, for Honda intends on offering the Jazz as a single variant option only, much like the initial offering on the Civic.

Ur's Jazz no dought very smooth in vision and fulfill with all advance requirements,which all are in one. But you are totally failure due to 7 Lacs value. If you want to be in Indian market with this jazz car, pl bring down ur's car price.Anyway good-luck. | Reply

The car is good but the people cannot accept the price tag of 8 plus lak (Mumbai) for the hatchback. i20 proves to be better option plus with more features then JAZZ like 6 airbags and tilt and telescopic steering and alloys. The jazz is highly priced and I think Honda dint consider the price in an appropriate manner. | Reply

Jazz is a very good car as my dad just bought it t 7 lakhs is nt worth.i guess honda city in 7 lakhs is better thn jazz.price is a bit high as comparison to its fetures. | Reply

Its a Good Car, Nice looks and interiors,,, although the price tab of 7 lac is high but i dont think it would be bad deal to get the brand HONDA in 7 lacs..... that too for a rocking car | Reply

It is a good car but the price tag is too high for the Indian market. People will definitely get better car with the same price. Honda's marketing people will have to think agin for pricing. | Reply

The Car is a new segment for the indian market but the price tag of Rs 8 Lakhs plus in mumbai is definately on the higher side. There are other cars like i20, Fabia, Punto which are better in features with the resonable price tags as well. | Reply

Brand is given by the customer for a companies product if its value for money. If price is too high for the product offered, then its an illusion of the company that the customers are standing to grow it. There may be in the process a lot of Sheep like customers who blindly go for that brand to show off in society, but then its culmination of 2 fools.Definitely, Honda makes good engines, but thats not worth this. Its like taking misadvantage of customers situation on choice.Honda started off in US as a success only because of offering valued quality cars at sub market prices. If they go away from this, they would very soon go away from success. | Reply

7 Lacs is a big price...honda needs to think that they are targetting this car to the Indian market. People can have a better car with the similar price tag. I dont think it would be able to give good competetion to swift which is also a hatch back and at a much lower price. anyway all the best jazz...lets see how you perform | Reply
