Honda's latest looker is set to turn heads while still keeping the rider's wallet heavy. Sopan Sharma grabs a quick dekko at the new CB Twister
It has been a long standing debate - the one involving form and function. Hardcore riders may usually side with the outright performance and road manners of a motorcycle, in fact many have known to love motorcycles with almost indigestible aesthetics as long as they give them their jollies while riding. For most others though, motorcycles form as much a statement of being cool on the street as anything else, but unfortunately the stunning lookers have almost always come with proportionally startling price tags.
Honda has unveiled a bike that may change the way the game works though. The CB Twister will be Honda's first geared motorcycle for India in the 100cc segment, but before you jump the gun and shout about the utter lack of space in the commuter bike market, we hope you have taken a good look at the pictures above. Taking a whole lot of design cues from its international litre-class naked, Honda CB1000R, the Twister is well on its way to making the segment much cooler than its workhorse image implies.
