The Accent was Hyundai's entry into the Indian sedan market and the car's sales didn't really pick up initially but soon the Accent gathered respect and became a hot-selling model in Hyundai's line up. However, it's a dated product now and also lacks the kind of refinement and equipment the other sedan's offer in this segment. It's an old workhorse which now needs a complete revamp for it to fit into the modern-day Indian sedan segment.
