| Road rage is a growing phenomenon in today's cut throat competitive world. Everyone seems to be in a rush and as the stress levels increase people on the road develop a total sense of intolerance. Coupled with rash driving and total callousness on our roads, driving in India has reached a level where you sometimes wish the cops would step up and really monitor driving habits. Having said that, all cannot be left to the police to handle and in truth it is up to us to do our own part in making our roads safer. In line with this thought is an NGO that goes by the name of "Road Pe Raahi Bhai Bhai". This unique NGO, formed by Vipin Suri and Bharti Chadha, caters to addressing road rage and rash driving from a ‘brotherly’ standpoint. By spreading the news of compassion and care for one another, this NGO has been taking great efforts in educating taxi fleet drivers as well as personal car owners on the nuances road rage and reckless driving. The message is to spread a brotherly love for one another on the road and show that by acknowledging one another and showing respect for other commuters. |
